The zoomable photos over at USA Today

are really neat and let you take a close look at all the detail in
each one of these frames. It looks like a lot of computer animation
was used, which surprised me because I always though Burton liked to
use as much real-life entities as possible. Perhaps the scope of
wonderland and production costs were just too great.
In this incarnation, Alice is a 17-year-old girl who flees a snooty party when she learns that she's about to be proposed to. She follows a white rabbit down a hole, and re-enters Wonderland. It's been ten years since that first visit, and she doesn't remember a thing.
The film is due March of 2010 - what do you think?
