With the buzz at a peak, a recently found distributor (Fox Searchlight) and a primo fall release planned, what better way to celebrate than with a film clip of one of my fall picks, Darren Oronofsky's The Wrestler?
Is anyone else excited or is it just me? You'd be hard pressed to find someone who has seen this thing and has something negative to say. The worst that can be found is it's something that isn't along Aronofsky's lines of visual flair. The man has always been able to draw real emotion with some incredible performances out of great actors, and that's what makes a great night at the pictures.
This fall never seemed so far away, and I don't even like wrestling!
