Just a rumor before, now a fully confirmed fact, Ridley Scott's next directorial effort will be Aldous Huxley's 1932 sci-fi tale Brave New World.
When asked about his decision for the project Scott said, "I didn't choose to do it, someone came to me with it. In fact it was Leo's [Leonardo DiCaprio's] production company that came to me with that."
Does that mean Leo might be our leading man in the dystopian future tale?
Huxley´s vision of a world of tomorrow in which capitalist civilization has been reconstituted through the most efficient scientific and psychological engineering. Think 1984/Brazil and we got ourselves a perfectly timed sci-fi tale from one of our greatest directors.
