Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Spike Lee is moving forward with a sequel to Inside Man over at Universal.
Apparently Lee had every intention of a sequel until he decided to make this fall's release, Miracle at St. Anna. Terry George (Hotel Rwanda, Reservation Road) is currently in negotiations to write the script for Lee to direct.
Denzel Washington and Clive Owen are interested in reprising their roles, despite not having a deal done yet. The sequel will "continue the relationship between the two men characters but in a new high-tension situation."
Bi-racial domestic partners, perhaps?!
