Gamer - (29% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes) Pick of the Week
Gamer is a high-concept action thriller set in a near future when gaming and entertainment have evolved into a terrifying new hybrid. Humans control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online games: people play people...for keeps. It only has five reviews up as it wasn't screened for critics, however it's brought to you by the guys who did Crank 1 and 2 and even bad reviews can't deter my excitement.
Extract - (57% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes)Check out The Movie Press Review HERE. Other critics are sayingExtract has some very funny moments and several fine performances, but the film feels slighter and more uneven than Mike Judge's previous work.
All About Steve - (0% on Rotten Tomatoes)
That's right, with 46 reviews and counting this film has ZERO positive reviews. Sandra Bullock plays eccentric crossword puzzle constructor Mary Horowitz who, after one short blind date, falls for handsome cable news cameraman Steve (Bradley Cooper). Convinced they are soul mates, Mary follows Steve across the country. Critics are saying All About Steve is an oddly creepy, sour film, featuring a heroine so desperate and peculiar that audiences may be more likely to pity than root for her.
