Check out our review of it HERE.
Armored - (83% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes)
A crew of officers at an armored transport security firm risk their lives when they embark on the ultimate heist.against their own company. Armed with a seemingly fool-proof plan, the men plan on making off with a fortune with harm to none. But when an unexpected witness interferes, the plan quickly unravels and all bets are off. Critical consensus seems to be the film does what its made to do and provide good old escapist fun.
Brothers - (57% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes)
When a decorated Marine goes missing overseas, his black-sheep younger brother cares for his wife and children at home—with consequences that will shake the foundation of the entire family. Starring Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman. Critics seem to agree that it plays more like a traditional melodrama than the Susanne Bier film that inspired it, but Jim Sheridan's Brothers benefits from rock-solid performances by its three leads.
Everybody's Fine - (47% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes)
Robert De Niro leads a stellar cast in this insightful dramedy starring Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell. A remake of the Italian film STANNO TUTTI BENE, EVERYBODY’S FINE features De Niro playing a widower who tries to improve his relationships with his troubled adult children. Critics are calling it a calm, charismatic performance from Robert De Niro who nearly saves the movie, but ultimately, Everybody's Fine has the look and feel of a stereotypical Christmas dramedy.
Transylmania - (Not Reviewed for Critics)
The synopsis says " In a year where vampires have returned to the forefront of the American zeitgeist with films and shows such as Twilight and True Blood, filmmakers David and Scott Hillenbrand bring some fresh blood to the coven with their vampire parody Transylmania." So if your up for a goof film about vampires, this is your ticket this weekend.
