A sequel to the 1987 film Wall Street is being fast tracked to sequelhood. Gordon Gecko has just been released from prison and is back on the prowl. Apparently Charlie Sheen's character isn't involved at all in the sequel, which seems to make sense. Michael Douglas has yet to be attached, there is no director, but the writer is Allan Loeb, who has written for 24 and is also a licensed stockbroker.
We are personally torn. While it would seem like a logical idea to go back to what brought home an Oscar for Douglas, this thing just seems like firing a gun half cocked. What do you guys think?
