We here at TheMoviePress were excited when Stephen Chow signed on to direct and star in Seth Rogen's Green Hornet, and when he left in December due to artisitic differences with the studio, we were afraid that Green Hornet would not come to fruition--and that Rogen's weight loss was all for naught.
However, rumor is on the streets, ok the EW streets, that Science of Sleep director Michel Gondry is in talks to step in. Plans are to begin production in the summer with the project still slated to be one of Sony's tentpoles for summer 2010.
This is incredible news. Gondry will bring some great vision to what will be a huge film. Or will it fall flat like Ang Lee's Hulk? Thoughts?
