From the BBC to the silver screen. Gervais is living large.

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s are getting the wheels moving on The Men from the Pru. Project is a coming-of-age tale about a group of men working at an insurance company in the 1970s. Gervais is co-writing, directing and producing with longtime creative partner Merchant. Gervais will also have a supporting role in the pic, which is set to go into production later this summer. But first keep an eye out for Gervais with his feature directorial debut, This Side of the Truth, which Warner Bros. is releasing domestically Sept. 25.
