Ever since Michel Gondry took the helm on the Seth Rogen written and starring Green Hornet, we've actually been slightly excited for this movie--well, that and Rogen's significantly trimmed down waist. But with recent talks of Stephen Chow leaving the production as sidekick Kato (and this is after leaving the director's chair), we've wondered how this film is coming along.
But talks are now taking place to add Nicholas Cage as the gangser villian to rival Rogen's Green Hornet and Cameron Diaz as his love interest. Personally, I love seeing Nic Cage as a baddie. He's much more menacing than likeable in my opinion. Maybe it's the hair... As for Diaz, at first I thought maybe it was a mismatch for Rogen, but thinking back to Diaz's debut in The Mask opposite Jim Carrey, this could potentially work.
What do y'all think? The film should be released next summer.
