By now we have heard our fair share of Palahniuk rumours. We love his books, his movie adapation of Fight Club is legendary, and Choke is coming out later this month. But what about Chuck's other books?
Well almost every book Chuck has written is rumoured to be in one stage of development hell or the other. Invisible Monsters is supposed to star Jessica Biel (fan concept art - right) for Jesse Peyronel, but he is still struggling with funding. Survivor was all set to take off until 9/11 happened and put that production to a screeching halt. Haunted is supposedly being developed into an HBO mini-series, while Diary is allegedly already cast with Julianne Moore and Glen Close in the leads.
Well it seems as though we can add two more to the list, according to The Cult (Palahniuk's unofficial site), Rant has just been optioned by an unnamed producer and casting is underway on Lullaby. I don't buy it, I won't let my hopes build up. But I'm always excited to hear any and all news regarding Chuck Palahniuk. Stick around, we will have our review of Choke up soon.
