Longtime TV director Darnell Martin hits the big time with Cadillac Records, a tale of sex, violence, race, and rock and roll in 1950s Chicago. The story follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America's musical legends, including Muddy Waters, Leonard Chess, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf, Etta James, and Chuck Berry. With Mos Def, Beyonce Knowles, Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Norman Reedus, Emmanuelle Criqui, and Gabrielle Union it's got quite the cast. Couple that with an amazing soundtrack, and we think it looks well worth a watch.
