The Avi he is referring to is Avi Lerner, the producer for the film who originally sent out the press release announcing Ratner's involvement. He has since said he and Ratner "still have a few obstacles. Brett is only committed if we agree on a budget, on how to do the special effects and exactly where we'd shoot the film."
Well there you have it. Also, on whether or not Caleeforneeah state Governator has been offered a one day cameo in the film for a cool million, but has yet to accept or decline. Schwarzenegger did however say, "Wait two years for me -- I'll be coming back."
