According to Variety, a cast list is starting to fall into place for the American remake of 13 Tzameti. 50 Cent, Mickey Rourke, and Jason Statham are set to star opposite Sam Riley. The original writer/director is back to remake his film for American audiences.
13 is the story of a naive, young man who assumes a dead man's identity and then finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men.
I saw the original film on Netflix a while back, and it's edge of your seat intensity. If you get a chance you should really check out the original.
