The Promotion (Pick of the Week)
Kinda like a reverse Office Space, where the guys working there actually want to keep working there. It's a tragic comedy with some genuine laughs. John C. Reily is mega awesome and shares quite a bit of chemistry with Sean William Scott, it's the little indie that could and deserves a look.
The Office - Season Four
That funny show thats on TV that's based on that even funnier Brittish show of the same name. Yeah, the new season is out.
Transformers (2-disc Blu Ray)
Robot fights blasts its way onto Blu Ray. Loaded with all the extras of the HD-DVD, but now on the format people actually own.
Supernatural - The Complete Third Season
After the mysterious disappearance of their father, two brothers seek out and combat paranormal and supernatural events to figure the meaning linking their mother's death whom was killed years earlier by a mysterious demon.
Desperate Housewives - The Complete Fourth Season
Those five ladies on Wysteria lane act likes bitches, bang dudes, and do all sorts of double crosses for another season. It's like if Skelator was a tempermental lady and retired to a suburban neighborhood and liked to bang dudes...for five seasons.
The Big Bang Theory - The Complete First Season
A woman who moves into an apartment next door to two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory. Haven't seen it but I hear it's actually worth a watch.
The Ghost Whisperer - The Complete Third Season
A newlywed with the ability to communicate with the earthbound spirits of the recently deceased overcomes skepticism and doubt to help send their important messages to the living and allow the dead to pass on to the other side. I'm guessing you're either already into it, or you make fun of it. I for some reason thought she talked to horses...I don't know why.
Then She Found Me
Mathew Broderick is midly annoying, Helen Hunt is getting kind of old (both her face and her schtick), and Colin Firth is awesome as always. This is an indie, directed by Hunt about a NYC schoolteacher having a midlife crisis after her adoptive mother dies, her husband leaves, and all in the midst of her trying to get pregnant.
Eli Stone: The Complete First Season
Johnny Lee Miller stars as San Francisco lawyer Eli Stone as he begins to see things, which leads him to discover a brain aneurysm. But his visions lead him to accept cases with little monetary gain but a lot of moral goodness. Also he sees George Michael perform, I'd buy that for a dollar.
Married Life
Starring Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson, Pierce Brosnan, and Rachel McAdams, with promises of suspense, comedy, and romance set in 1949, it might be worth a spin.
