![]() Things got a little Avatarded this morning with the announcement of the The British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominations. Avatar and The Hurt Locker tied with 8 nominations each. District 9 has seven nominations, while Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and Up in the Air have six nominations each.They will be doing battle with indie Precious and the British made An Education for best picture.
