The 2010 Independent Spirit Award nominations came out as they ready to hand these suckers out to the winners on March 5. There are some omissions, some surprises (good and bad), but all in all we are starting to see some trends and if that continues it might not be so hard to pick out the top ten come Oscar nomination time.
