Movie release dates: 2, Entertainment Weekly: 0. It appears as though studios are playing the release date shuffle in a bid to anger EW and confuse fans who bought their fall movie preview. A recent press release  has pushes the North American opening of Quantum of Solace back from November 7th to the 14th.

This puts the film more in line with it's predecessors original release date,  November 17th, which didn't seem to hurt things much with a $600 million worldwide gross. Solace will still premiere in the UK on October 31st, but us stateside will have to wait one more week.

Still opening on the 7th is Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and the just now shifted Paul Rudd comedy Role Models, and the 14th is now between Bond, Baz Luhrmann's epic drama Australia, and Bernie Mac's final film, Soul Men.
